Swedish based automaker Volvo Car will unveil its hatchback V40 R-Design at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.
The new R-Design of the V40 will be offered with a range of engines starting from D2 diesel engine that generates an output of 115hp to T5 petrol turbo engine with 254hp.
According to the company, the V40 R-Design will be available with a 10mm lowered Sports chassis when compared to the Dynamic chassis.
Volvo Car Product Strategy & Vehicle Line Management senior vice president Lex Kerssemakers said: "Both the standard Dynamic chassis and the optional Sport chassis are designed to offer a class-leading, intense driving experience, no matter if you prioritise maximum fuel-efficiency or rapid acceleration."
Apart from Rebel Blue livery, the V40 R-Design comes in six other exterior colours, the company said.
Pricing of the new hatchback will be announced in early October 2012, while the customer deliveries are expected to start during January 2013.
