Reportedly, Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC), the Gulf Cooperation Council's largest steel producer, plans to develop two steel mills located at Saudi Arabia's Gulf coast area. The Jubail plant will design an annual processing capacity of 1.5 million tons and the Rabigh plant will design an annual processing capacity of 1 million tons. Meanwhile, the company has also agreed with the country's oil ministry for supply fuel in order to light the plant for production purpose.
