The new labeling and packaging formats have been designed to increase AminoActiv's visibility to consumers.

According to the company, the packaging will provide more information that helps consumers and retailers realize the benefits of avoiding non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as Ibuprofen and NSAIDs.

Vireo Systems product manager Don Raymond said the new packaging and labeling will have a better impact on consumers who are shopping for alternatives to ibuprofen and other NSAIDs.

"Some of our consumers with chronic pain conditions asked for a larger capsule bottle. Responding to their needs, we are introducing a new 180-count capsule bottle, which triples the quantity and lowers costs for these types of AminoActiv consumers compared to the original 60 count bottle product," Raymond added.

The company has also replaced the cream jar with a convenient topical cream tube that contains the same 2.75oz of non-staining, pain and inflammation relief as before.

Vireo System is offering its 60-count capsule bottle and topical cream tube in container boxes, allowing for communication of more product information at the point of sale.

Additionally, the company has reduced paper consumption by printing dosage recommendations and suggested applications on the inside of the box.
