Manufacturers and Fashion Designers Are Set with Their New Summer Camp Clothing Collection

As the camping season is underway, the clothing manufacturers and fashion designers are all set with their new summer camp clothing collection. The latest summer camp apparel line has been unveiled by Switzerland-based Victorinox and British fashion designer Christopher Raeburn.

The summer camp collection ‘Festival Ready’ has been launched as part of the festival season in the UK market. The limited collection includes tents, men’s poncho - an outer garment designed to keep the body warm and women’s capelet. The apparel line is manufactured with 100 percent recycled nylon.

Speaking to fibre2fashion, Christopher Raeburn said, “Festival Ready collection has been manufactured with 100 percent recycled nylon and it offers fashionable practical items for outdoor events.”

“I have always been to the festivals in the UK and I have seen a lot of textile waste been generated during the festival because tents and clothing are discarded by the people. This was my inspiration for designing the new summer camp collection,” he adds.

According to the spokesperson of Victorinox, the camp collection, for both men and women, consists of men’s camo vest and poncho as well as a women’s capelet. It is made using high specification recycled, nylon fabrics. “The men’s tent is a high-tech, compact and lightweight, waterproof tent whilst the women’s tent offers the same quality and durability with a little more space and comfort,” he informs.

“We have worked together with Christopher Raeburn to create two state of the art and technical tents in very limited numbers,” he adds.
