OnePlus has just passed the milestone of its first birthday, and to mark the occasion it's announced a new accessory and made the OnePlus One available to buy normally for a spell.
The Chinese manufacturer has had quite a year, with its excellent OnePlus One smartphone sticking it to the big boys in performance terms, if not sales.
Of course, much of that last part is down to the company's unique approach to supply and demand. That is, it seems to wait until demand is at fever pitch before handling a little of the supply part.
To celebrate its first birthday, OnePlus has once again made the OnePlus One available to buy normally through its website. Right now there's no funny invite system, no pre-order windows, and no jumping through hoops simply to secure a very good cheap phone.
You just add the 16GB (£229) or 64GB (£269) model to your basket and checkout. Of course, there's no telling how long this offer will last for, so get in quick.

OnePlus has also provided a brand new accessory that's currently listed as 'Coming soon' on the company's website.
The OnePlus Power Bank is an external 10,000mAh battery charger that provides enough juice for three full OnePlus One charges. It's got two USB ports too, so you can charge two devices simultaneously.
It's a sleek little thing, available in Silk White and Sandstone Black (like the One), and with a curved buttonless design. If you want to see the battery indicator, you have to give it a gentle shake.
The best thing about the OnePlus Power Bank, though, has to be its price. It'll cost just £13.99 - provided you can ever find it in stock.
