Torishima Pump Mfg Co Ltd has received an order from Posco Engineering & Construction Co Ltd to supply 14 pumps for the Cochrane Thermoelectric Power Plant in Chile. The order covers six boiler feed pumps, four condensate pumps and four circulating pumps. The 472 MW plant will be constructed on the outskirts of Mejillones, Antophagasta in northern Chile.
