Poland-based Primera Polska has purchased Mark Andy Digital One label press, in a bid to expand its productions operations.
The company installed Mark Andy’s digital press at its Zory production facility in the southern region of Poland.
Primera has invested in Digital One label press to enhance its capacity for runs of 500 – 5000 labels printed in four-color process.
Digital One is an all-inclusive label production solution, which involves in inline converting and finishing operations.
The system holds capacity to produce 125,000 labels of 200 different designs within two hours.
Mark Andy’s digital press, which provides CMYK toner printing, includes an inline flexo unit for varnish or cold foil and die cutting station.
According to Primera, the Digital One label press has increased capacity by over 800% since May.
Primera Polska co-owner Sylwia Dudek said: “The main benefits of the Digital One are that it can handle a variety of standard substrates without the need for pre-treatment - and without a ‘click’ charge to pay, the only cost we incur is the inexpensive toner.
“The Mark Andy also has a very low power requirement, needing only 220V of single phase power during full-production mode.”
Serving the label and packaging industry, Mark Andy provides flexographic printing solutions, digital hybrid printing solutions, plate mounters, offline finishing solutions such as Rotoflex and others.
