Pro Mach to Acquire French Capping Machinery Manufacture for an Undisclosed Value

Packaging firm Pro Mach has signed a deal to acquire all the shares of French capping machinery manufacturer André Zalkin & Cie for an undisclosed value.

Following the transaction, which is expected to be completed in early 2014, the existing Zalkin staff including management team and employees will offer services from their facilities located in Montreuil L'Argille′ and Rueil-Malmaison.

Pro Mach president and CEO Mark Anderson said, "Zalkin is the ideal partner to support our continued growth outside North America and further strengthen our position as a global leader in packaging solutions."

The latest move will allow Pro Mach to expand and strengthen its position as integrated packaging line solutions provider.

Pro Mach, which has increased its focus on markets particularly Latin America and Europe, will continue to invest in the Zalkin brand and facilities, including completion of an upcoming factory expansion.

Zalkin manufactures capping machinery for industries including food, beverage, pharmaceutical, consumer goods, and industrial products. It also manufactures screw, push-on, and Roll-on Pilfer Proof (ROPP) capping machines along with cap sorters, elevators, and decappers.
