Sri Lanka's Special Task Force Has Arrested 11 People

Sri Lanka’s Special Task Force has arrested 11 people and seized a large consignment of illegally felled timber worth more than one million rupees (£5, 000), as well as machinery and tractors. Teak, sandalwood, palu and katakala logs were among the seized timber at four locations, according to the country’s Daily News.
