THE federal government has thrown water on claims by state treasurers that it's committed to taking action to lower the GST threshold on imported goods.
NSW Treasurer Mike Baird yesterday released a statement saying that the federal government had accepted the proposed reform following a meeting with Wayne Swan on Monday.
