Goliath Games is continuing its designs for global expansion having acquired North American toy giant, Pressman Toy Corporation.
Founded in Netherlands in 1980, the game manufacturer now sells to over 75 countries with offices now reaching across France, Germany, Belgium, Portugal and Spain.
The firm also enjoys a strong presence in Poland, Hong Kong, Australia, Canada and the US.
Following the acquisition, the two companies will continue to operate as separate entities, with Pressman developing its own products, but employing Goliath’s R&D, purchasing and TV campaigns internationally, reports Kidscreen.
Jim Pressman will continue to serve as president of Pressman Toys and oversee licensing for both companies globally.
Goliath is famed for its hit games Pop the Pig and Doggie Doo. Pressman is renowned for titles including Mastermind, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and games and puzzles based on Skylanders, How to train Your Dragon 2 and Diary of a Wimpy Kid.
