Plastic packaging producer VisiPak, a division of Sinclair & Rush, has introduced a new line of clear plastic candy tube packaging. Each tube featuring 10” of usable space, ranges in diameters from 1” to 2” and over 10” in length.
The containers line, made from FDA approved polyethylene terephtalate glycol-modified (PETG), is manufactured in the Midwest. A bottom insert is welded to the inside of the tube, sealing one end permanently, while a clear cap fits well over the open end.
According to the US-based company, the package offers better clarity, durability as well as recyclability. Caps and tubes are sold together in case quantities of 25.
The packaging is transparent enabling to view the treat inside from the outside and serves as a benefit for consumers, retailers and manufacturers.
Sinclair & Rush sales and marketing director of Jeff Barket said establishment of the new line for candy packaging will serve the multitude of small businesses that do not need large production runs.
"In addition, the ease of purchasing from our online store streamlines the whole order process for our customers and fulfillment department," Barket said.
