Generally a heavy equipment training programs are conducted in the full-time process which means they do not conduct such programs in the part-time process. Basically, these programs are conducted for the trainees to help them getting and achieving a good career in this industry after the completion of the course. There are different stages in this training programs. They are;
• In the very first stage of the training program, trainees are given with a brief introduction of the new as well as used heavy equipment and also the nature of its usage and operation techniques. This stage is very much important for the people who are new to this industry and helps them to proceed on to the next two stages.
• In the second stage, trainees have been introduced to the equipments like rollers, bulldozers, forklifts, and so on. They have also been trained about the maintenance of the construction products, safety measures that should be taken while working with such equipments, grade reading as well as heavy equipment rigging. At the end of this stage, trainees will become more skilled in the maintenance of new or used heavy equipment, and thus they can get more employment opportunities in this industry.
• The final stage is specially designed for the successful trainees of the stage one and two. At this stage, the trainees are given training on motor graders, hydraulic excavators and other advanced training for the successful completion of the training program or project. The trainees who have passed in all these stages will be given NCCER certification.
Remember, CDL (Commercial Driving License) is very much important for every trainee before he/she starts his/her career in this industry as an operator.
