The Malaysian unit of Japanese car maker Honda is aiming to sell 10,000 Hybrid cars this year in the country.
Honda Malaysia managing director/chief executive officer Yoichiro Ueno said the aim was to sell more than 3,000 units each of the Insight, CR-Z and the Jazz Hybrid which is the latest addition to the family of the company's hybrid cars.
The Japanese carmaker said that it has sold 8,400 units of hybrid models the previous year, with its Insight model has achieved the sales of about 4,568 units in the country.
Honda has launched the Jazz Hybrid in Malaysia which is powered by a 1.3 litre Integrated Motor Assist (IMA) powertrain and is priced at MYR94,800 ($30,971).
