Interpipe Is Allowed to Participate in Iraqi Tenders by South Oil

Ukrainian steel pipe and wheel producer Interpipe has announced the putting in place of a local support team to work on the ground in the southern Iraqi city of Basra following the receipt of approval from South Oil Company (SOC), one of the major fundamental formations of Iraqi national oil company (INOC), of Interpipe as a preferred supplier for the country.

The approval, granted following meetings in Iraq with South Oil and a lengthy audit of Interpipe's steel mill in Ukraine, allows Interpipe to participate in local tenders.

Interpipe has also appointed a local partner in Basra, Al Nukhba Oil Field Services, to provide company facilities and fulfill on-the-ground security requirements.
