Shrink wrapping systems supplier Yorkshire Packaging (YPS) has announced its acquisition of automated solutions manufacturer in the UK Camline Products and Services for an undisclosed sum.
Following the acquisition, YPS now has the ability to offer turnkey automated solutions to the packaging industry.
The acquisition will also enable the company to offer robotics, palletization, conveyor systems and bespoke handling equipment to the market, along with its standard shrink wrapping machinery.
YPS is also offering integration of other production machinery including print and apply systems, tray erectors, case erectors and top closes and sealers, besides the design and in-house manufacture.
YPS MD Glyn Johnson said, "This is a wonderful acquisition and will help further strengthen our position in the marketplace and enable us to offer complete turnkey packaging solutions."
