Radical is planning to launch the Radical Xtreme Coupe (RXC), a Le Mans-inspired racer car, at the 2013 Autosport International Show in the UK in January.
The two-seater will be equipped with a Ford-built 3.7L V6 engine mated to a seven-speed Quaife gearbox with paddle shifters that will generate 380bhp at 6750rpm and 320lbft at 4250rpm.
The RXC, which is calimed to sprint from 0-62mph in 2.8sec, will come with tubular steel spaceframe, front and rear crash structures and double wishbone suspension front and rear.
The car will feature gullwing doors, EPAS power steering and air conditioning, pedal box, a heated front screen, Corbeau seats and carbonfibre bi-plane rear wing with front and rear diffusers which produces 900kg downforce at maximum speed.
The new car is 4300mm long, 1960mm wide and 1127mm high as well as will feature sports six-pot caliper brakes with 330mm discs at the front and 310mm discs at the rear and 17-inch wheels.
The car is expected to be on sale from summer 2013, after it is approved by the EC.
