The Turnover and Results Figures of Swedish Window Manufacturer Inwido Declined Further

The turnover and results figures of Swedish window manufacturer Inwido declined further in the period from April to Jun 2012. Thus the operative result (EBITDA) declined by half to SEK92m and the EBITA plummeted to SEK66m. In this context a burden was imposed on the EBITA in the second quarter particularly as a consequence of the sale of the Home Improvement AB subsidiary, which was part of the Home Improvement & Supply business division. Following adjustments to account for this and other one-off special effects in connection with the closure of the window production in the Swedish location of Edsbyn, the EBITA dropped by 26% to SEK120m. As a consequence of the significant decline in the key results figures, the net result also plummeted by more than half to SEK39m.
