Tamil Nadu-based Akshaya Textile, one of the leading home furnishing textiles exports house from the textile city of Karur, is going to showcase its products at the 5th edition of the India International Handwoven Fair (IIHF), scheduled for 11-13 March, 2015, in Chennai.
IIHF is the first of its kind trade fair in India that showcases exclusive products of handloom industry to the buyers of the world community. Organised by the Handloom Export Promotion Council, the event showcases the best home textiles in quality and design from all over India.
“We are exporting home furnishing textiles for the past 19 years to several countries all over the world. We are expecting good response of buyers at Booth no. 42 in IIHF this year,” K Sakthivel from Akshaya Textile told fibre2fashion.
Equipped with modern machinery, Akshaya manufactures and exports all kinds of cotton home textile products, made-ups and fabrics like tablecloth, tea towel, waffle tea towel, beach mattress, cushion cover, pillow case, hammock, bedspreads, blankets, floor mat, curtains, ribbed mat, fused mat, ribbed runner, fused runner, apron, mitt and pot holder and all other kinds of fabrics.
“Our collection imbibes creativity and imagination and tops the style charts due to their unique designs,” avers Sakthivel.
