Chinese Steelmaker Shougang Announces to Hike Its Prices of Hot Rolled Coils

It’s reported that the Chinese steelmaker Shougang announced to hike its prices of hot rolled coils (HRC) and plates by RMB150/ton and RMB100/ton respectively for September.

However, Shougang remained its prices for cold rolled coils (CRC) and hot dipped galvanized steel coils unchanged for September.

After the adjustment, its prices for Q235 HRC with thickness of 5.5mm are at RMB3,260/ton; those for Q235 plates with thickness of 20mm are at RMB3,550/ton and those of SPCC CRC with thickness of 1.0mm are at RMB4,100/ton, 17% VAT are included.
