The Chinese company with a worldwide reputation Fuyao Glass Industry Group 7 September opened a factory producing automotive glass in Russia. This is the first branch of the famous company to products of this company came to the country only through imports.Construction of the plant in the Kaluga region took almost two years. Expanding the territory of Russia in the direction of the company's management was planned much earlier, in 2001. The project was able to complete only after 12 years because of a long plant design.
According to preliminary estimates, in the next year there will be released one million sets of glasses. Not smaller volumes produced in factories that manufacture plastic windows rehau. In the next three years, capacity will be increased three times. Invested in the project of at least 300 million euros, and in the future plans of the company is the production, in addition to the ordinary, and even float-glass.
It is expected that more than half of the available glasses will go to the European market. One of the main customers of the plant will concern Volkswagen, especially since one of the branches of the famous car manufacturer stands just outside Kaluga.
