Tivoli Audio will go the International CES with an expanded assortment of Bluetooth-equipped clock radios and tabletop music systems.
At the show, the company will display a Bluetooth-equipped version of its existing compact Model Three clock radio at a suggested $349 and the recently introduced $599-suggested Music System Two BT.
The Model Three BT mono clock radio, shipping in mid-January, features furniture-grade wood cabinets of walnut/beige, cherry/taupe, black/silver, and white/silver. An aluminum bezel rotates to set alarm time. The clock radio emits a constant, soft glow so it’s visible in little or no light but not bright enough to disturb sleep, the company said.
The Music System Two BT is a wider AM/FM clock radio with stereo speakers and built-in powered subwoofer in a wood cabinet available in walnut/beige, cherry/metallic taupe, and black-ash/silver finishes. The Music System Two BT also features SpacePhase equalization choices between mono and stereo modes, subwoofer volume control, and bass-reflex design for extended bass response.
In 2012, the company launched its first Bluetooth products, including the BluCon Bluetooth receiver, which connects to any sound system and is currently priced at $99. Other Bluetooth products launched that year included Bluetooth-equipped versions of its PAL portable AM/FM radio with rechargeable battery and Model One AM/FM tabletop radio. The Bluetooth versions of those products are priced at $299 and $259, respectively. In 2013, the company launched the Bluetooth-equipped Albergo clock radio at $299 and a $699 Bluetooth-equipped version of its longstanding single-chassis AM/FM/CD Music System.
