Behr America, a supplier of automotive air conditioning and engine cooling systems, has appointed Uwe Gerber as the new vice president of operations.
In his new role, Gerber, who had previously managed Behr's production facilities in Pforzheim, Germany, will be responsible for the company's manufacturing operations and logistics.
Prior to this role, he was also responsible for managing assignments in product development and at the company's customer center.
Behr America president and CEO Wilm Uhlenbecker said," He brings a wide-ranging perspective of the impact of all phases of the supply chain, key performance indicators and customer satisfaction, which will greatly benefit not only Behr but our customers and key suppliers as well."
Behr, which is a specialist for automotive air conditioning and engine cooling systems, builds and supplies original equipment for light vehicles and trucks.
