PT Polytama Propindo, a subsidiary of PT Tirtamas Majutama, has restarted its Balongan, West Java-based polypropylene (PP) plant.
“The PP plant has restarted on August 26, 2013,” a company official told fibre2fashion.
The 380 kt/year PP manufacturing plant was shutdown on August 12 for carrying out upgradation work.
Founded in 1993, Polytama Propindo markets its polypropylene under Masplene brand name.
