CISA Announced The Average Crude Steel Output Down 0.7% in China in MID-Nov

On November 28, the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) announced that in mid-November (Nov. 11-20) this year the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China totaled 1.750 million mt, down 0.7 percent compared to early November (Nov. 1-10). Meanwhile, the average aggregate daily crude steel production of all steelmakers in China in mid-November was estimated at 2.1319 million mt, indicating a decrease of 0.57 percent compared with early November.

According to the CISA's previous figures, in early November this year the average aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China had amounted to 1.763 million mt, up 3.5 percent compared to late October (Oct. 21-31). In early November, the average aggregate daily crude steel production of all steelmakers in China was estimated at 2.144 million mt, indicating an increase of 2.2 percent compared with late October.

Meanwhile, as of November 20 this year, inventory of the main finished steel products in the major steel markets in China totaled 13.934 million mt, up 1.008 million mt or 0.4 percent as compared to the figure recorded on November 10.
