On October 24, Rentokil was awarded Johnson Controls' "Supplier Excellence in Execution" award for 2012 at its Building Efficiency Supplier Excellence Recognition Event in Milwaukee, WI. Sixteen awards were distributed in two categories, Excellence in Execution and Leadership. The "Excellence in Execution" award recognizes supplier achievements in the areas of quality, delivery, service and cost.
"Since this was our inaugural Supplier Conference, we did not really know what to expect as an award recipient. We should feel very honored as an organization to be nominated and chosen as the 'best of the best' preferred suppliers with whom Johnson Controls partners," said Blair Caswell, Director of Global Accounts – Sales. Colleagues were invited to a private dinner and award reception to commemorate their excellent work.
Johnson Controls, a Fortune 500 (#76 in 2011) Facility Management and Automotive Systems company headquartered in Milwaukee, WI, and Rentokil negotiated and executed a Master Service Agreement in late August 2011.
"Since the formalization of the relationship, our business has grown by $140,000 in Annual Sales Revenue (Verizon Wireless and Agilent Technologies), placing the entire portfolio at approximately $700,000 per year in recurring revenue and making it one of our largest accounts. We are also scheduled to install an additional $100,000 ASV beginning in November (Bristol Myers Squibb and Pfizer)," explained Blair.
"It was truly a team effort from our Global Accounts Sales and Sales Operations teams, as well as the Operations Service and Management field colleagues that are delivering World Class solutions on a daily basis," noted Blair. "Special recognition goes to Jim Neiswender for his phenomenal Account Stewardship of Bristol Myers Squibb, Dave Zedack for his assistance at the Syracuse, NY manufacturing plant that we recently sold, and Dwayne Hess and Eric Moyer for their management of the Verizon account!"
