German developer and manufacturer of vacuum insulation panel (VIP) va-Q-tec has announced the opening of a US office in East Rutherford, New Jersey, in a bid to expand into the North American market.
The new presence will allow the company to support its growing healthcare and pharmaceutical customer base in the US and Canada and serve the increased demand for the temperature controlled packaging.
For purchase or as part of its global 'Load and Go' rental service, the company will unveil its packaging portfolio to ship biopharmaceutical products.
A single pack-out configuration across the product line ensures that the customers of va-Q-tec benefit from one container capable of multiple applications.
This is expected to result in reduction of packaging complexities below industry standards, and will minimize more than 25% out of total landed logistics costs, the company said.
