Carl Rittberger Sr, an establishment based in Ohio, is recalling approximately 9,000 pounds of fully-cooked deli items due to a possible contamination by Listeria monocytogenes.

The bacteria was identified during routine testing by the Ohio Department of Agriculture. The product that tested positive never left the plant.

No illnesses linked to the consumption of these products have been reported till date.
