The China EV 100 this year will study surveys on issues including EV infrastructure, battery improvement, pilot EV business models and intelligent systems.

Scholars and entrepreneurs said that charging points will be included in the overall transportation and energy planning, and urged stepping up research of more stable batteries.

Insiders said the policy causes stress to local EV makers. Establishing Chinese standards is necessary to use BSG technology to economize on energy and reduce discharge.

Domestic new energy components enterprises are enthusiastic now but they suffer from inadequate capacity. Poor universality and small size can't meet the increasing demand. Now EV users need to travel about 70 km every day. Plug-in hybrids technology can meet the requirement based on trip and driving experience.
