The Infant Seat with iPad Bracket Sparks Outcry

A US advocacy group has called on a toy maker to stop selling a baby seat with an iPad holder at the front. This product encourages parents to leave their babies alone to watch screens. The "ultimate electronic babysitter" seat blocks a baby's view of the world, undermining the child's interaction with patents, said the US group Campaign for a Commercial-Free Childhood. The American Academy of Pediatrics discourages any electronic screen time for infants and toddlers under 2 as it can delay language development.
