According to data released by the National Institute of Statistics (Inei), Peru's rebar output totaled 67,889 tons in October, falling by 9.7% year on year and decreasing by 11.6% from a month ago.
Meanwhile, the country's rebar shipments totaled 101,919 tons in October, decreasing by 15.5% year on year but rising by 5% from a month ago.
Meanwhile, the Peru's rebar market is mainly supplied by two domestic steel long product manufacturers, Gerdau's Siderperu and Aceros Arequipa.
