Denmark-based clothing company Bestseller, which owns renowned apparel brands such as Vero Moda and Jack & Jones has announced plans of expansion in Turkey, by opening new retail outlets of Vero Moda and Jack & Jones, at the Cevahir Mall in Istanbul, with the aim of promoting the Danish brand in the country.
At a press meet to announce the expansion, Andrew Farnham, country manager of Bestseller in Turkey, said that the country has a young market with great potential for growth of the company's brands Vero Moda, and Jack & Jones, which has a young clientele.
The new stores in Cevahir Mall are concept-based stores constructed with a budget of €1 million, and having a fresher outlook to attract younger crowd who identify with the brands, he added.
According to Mr. Farnham, Turkey's retail sector is ever-growing as well as has great potential for development, and an expansion in the Turkish market would only mean greater achievements for the firm in the coming years.
Founded in Denmark during 1975, Bestseller aims at providing fast affordable fashion for women, men, teenagers and children. Bestseller products are available online, in branded chain stores, in multi-brand as well as department stores.
The Danish firm has more than 3,000 chain stores across 38 markets worldwide, including Europe, the Middle East, Canada and India, and its brands are sold in approximately 12,000 multi-brand and department stores in 53 different countries.
Bestseller owns brands such as Jack & Jones, Junarose, Mamalicious, Name It, Object Collectors Item, Only, Outfitters Nation, Pieces, Selected, Vero Moda and Vila Clothes.
