Solar cell maker Motech Industries has released its financial report for second-quarter 2014, recording net earnings per share of NT$0.06, according to the company.
Motech posted consolidated revenues of NT$5.268 billion (US$176 million), gross margin of 5.52%, net operating profit of NT$57 million and net profit of NT$27 million for the second quarter, with net profit shrinking on quarter by 82.42%.
Motech's board of directors on August 5 decided to invest US$33 million to set up a solar cell subsidiary maker in China.
