American automotive company Ford Motor has unveiled the new 2015 Ford Focus ST vehicle at Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK.
The new vehicle is powered by Ford 2L EcoBoost engine paired with turbocharging, twin independent variable camshaft timing and high-pressure direct injection that delivers output of 252hp and torque of 270Nm.
Paired with the six-speed manual transmission, the engine offers rapid acceleration in lower gears and comfortable cruising at speed.
Ford Global Product Development vice president Raj Nair said since its debut, Focus ST has been bringing our fun-to-drive DNA to the hot hatch segment with a uniquely Ford blend of driving dynamics, performance and style.
"Now, with improved dynamics, an updated suspension, new styling and a more sophisticated cabin, we expect the 2015 Focus ST will remain the hottest hatch worldwide," Nair added.
Focus ST includes HID headlamps standard with ST2 and ST3 trim levels with Recaro seats, standard LED signature lighting, 18inch Rado Gray alloy wheels standard, new exterior color, Magnetic Metallic and revamped front door storage with cupholders.
Features of the vehicle include new flat-bottom steering wheel, eight-way power driver's seat, rear view camera standard and improved driving dynamics.
