Brazil's imports of steel flat products fell by 7.4 % year on year in October, according to the data from the country's foreign trade ministry.
The total steel flat imports were 115,117 tons in October, compared to 124,504 tons same period in 2011.
The most imports were from Russia to 27,861 tons, increased by 9,219 tons year on year. China ranked the second of imported steel flat products by 21,375 tons, but the figure was down from 44,678 tons last year.
The imports in October were also down from September by 37.6% to 84,673 tons.
