Porsche's New Car Global Sales Rose 5.2% in August

Senior German sports car maker - Porsche announced the results of the global new car sales in August on September 5, 2013. Total sales are 11481 vehicles, rose 5.2%, continuous growth.

From different markets, there is a credit crisis of the European market sales fell, only 2537 vehicles, down 9.4% year on year, has been lower than the previous sales for four months. The German's sales is 1050 vehicles, down 4.6% year on year, presents the negative growth trend again after 11 months.

The Chinese market sales is 3250 vehicles, rose 12.8%, the growth rate exceeded the United States. The Asia – including China, Pacific, Middle East, Africa market sales to 5026 vehicles, rose 9.9%.

According to statistics, Porsche's global sale from January to August in 2013 is 106777, year-on-year increase of 15.5%. From the different models, SUVs (sport utility vehicle) Cayenne sales reached more than 55000 vehicles, the sales of the 911 is about 20000 vehicles.

The marketing director Bernhard Maier said: "fuel-efficient car can satisfy the demand of The Times in the future."
