His Excellency Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki attended the opening session of the Arab Council of Ministers of Housing and Construction in its 29th session in Baghdad, attended by Deputy Prime Minister Saleh Al-Mutlaq, Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, Mohamed Sahib Al-Darraji Minister of Construction and Housing, and several Arab Housing and Construction ministers.
The Prime Minister gave an opening speech in which he welcomed the Arab ministers of Housing and Construction participating in the conference. He stressed that holding this conference comes as a continuation to the success achieved by Iraq’s hosting of several conferences this year, including the Arab Summit Conference and the conference of Palestinian prisoners and detainees in Israeli jails.
Minister of Housing and Construction, Engineer Mohammed Sahib Al- Darraji, gave a speech in which he welcomed his counterparts; the Arab Minister of Housing and Construction. Representative of the Secretary General of the Arab League, also gave a speech at the meeting.
This conference was being held from 18th to 20th December under the chairmanship of the Republic of Iraq.
