Argos: "We have seen an unprecedented demand for Furby Boom this year"
Hasbro is shipping additional Furby Boom stock to meet UK demand this Christmas.
The company is bringing in another 80,000 Furby Booms to cope as recent demand has left stock running low.
"Furby Boom was the number one toy last month," said Foye Pascoe, general manager UK, Ireland Nordic & Benelux at Hasbro.
"Even more successful than last year's Furby, it has already surpassed sales expectations with all major retailers running low on stock.
"The extra 80,000 Furby Booms will ensure that there are no disappointed children this Christmas."
Andrea Abbis, trading manager at Argos added: "We have seen an unprecedented demand for Furby Boom this year.
"We are working closely with Hasbro to meet the incredible demand and avoid consumer disappointment this Christmas, so look out for new stocks in-store and online very soon."
