A MacRumors report points out popular apps like Dark Sky, Evernote and Sky Guide now have updated versions offering built-in versions of Apple Watch apps.
For example, Evernote now offers the ability for users to dictate notes to the watch, receive reminders and see recently created and updated notes.
Dark Sky users will be able to see the app on the Apple Watch face with an interface designed for the smaller screen, while the Sky Guide app will display a calendar of upcoming astronomical events and serve up alerts when the ISS is flying overhead.
Other apps updated on Wednesday include the Things to-do-list app and the Target shopping app.
The early app roll out is likely to be geared towards facilitating a comprehensive experience for Apple Watch reviewers and those heading into Apple Stores to try on the device from April 10.
