Jordan's imports of crude oil and its derivatives soared to JOD 3.363 billion at the end of September driven by a massive increase of 80 percent in diesel imports.
According to a report by the Departments of Statistics, the Kingdom's oil bill is 23% higher from the same period in 2011 when oil imports reached JOD 2.715 billion. Diesel imports rose by 80% hitting JOD 1.014 billion compared with JOD 563 million is the same period of last year.
