The Independent Tire Dealers Group (ITDG) announced the promotion of Edward Long to Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
"Since joining the group in April 2003 Ed has done a terrific job of growing our membership and continually adding value to the program," says ITDG CEO and President Michael Cox.
"Through Ed's efforts we have evolved from a Southwest regional program to one of national and international scope. We are now represented in 33 states with over 500 locations and are an associate member of point S, an international organization of independent tire dealers in 27 countries with 1400 independent tire dealers."
When Long joined ITDG he had held various executive positions with TBC/Tire Kingdom. Prior to joining TBC/Tire Kingdom in 2001, Long held various management/executive positions with Bridgestone/Firestone throughout the country.
