Italian clothing brand Santini will sponsor and supply the Belkin pro cycling team in a two-year deal that starts in January. The Belkin team is built on the former Rabobank team organization. The?Dutch-registered squad has been on Giant bikes for several years, but will race on Bianchi bicycles next year.?
Santini will provide the official technical clothing and casual after-race garments for the team.
"We share some fundamental values with Belkin,"?said Pietro Santini, owner and founder of SMS Santini. "Honesty, trust, hard work. Team Belkin represents the new face of cycling and we are ready to ride the future with them."
Since it was founded in 1965 Santini has supplied many top teams, including?Orica GreenEDGE, Vacansoleil and Katusha at the WorldTour level in 2013. The Belkin deal is the brand's first announced sponsorship for the 2014 season.
