According to the latest data released by the national foreign trade ministry (Mdic), Brazil’s exports of steel flat products totaled 60,700 tons in October, slumping by 43.5% from 107,400 tons in September. Meanwhile, the country’s export value generated by steel flat products totaled US$62.8 million FOB in October, decreasing by 31.96% from US$92.3 million in a month ago. The export prices of steel flat products averaged at US$1,304/ton FOB, jumping by 20.3% from a month ago. Besides, the country’s exports of semi-finished steel products totaled 562,000 tons in October, rising by 29.5% from a month ago. The export values were at US$274.1 million FOB.
