Beniot Paill, a Montreal based photographer has been working on a series of photos using an interesting lighting method. Each landscape that he chooses has a glowing square suspended in the center of the piece.

Each photo is not a Photoshop version of a real life photograph, the 1 x 1 meter light is simply hung in the center of the space and the result is an amazing source of illumination for each piece.

Paill states that his goal is to “redefine what a landscape photograph is by questioning its reality, creating a kind of poetic moment in space and time.”
