Furniture and accessory resource Linon is opening a rug-only showroom in time for January’s Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market.
The new showroom is located in AmericasMart Building 1, space 6-G-4. In the Atlanta showroom, Linon will introduce more than 100 rug styles for 2016 in multiple styles and constructions. At previous markets, Linon had shared showroom space with sister company Powell Home Fashions in space 6-G-12 inside Building 1.
Officials said the company’s area rug division has grown tremendously since it was added to Linon’s product mix in 2009, and senior management decided to make Atlanta the main showroom for area rugs in order to have an exclusive focus on the area rug business and customers.
Linon will have a ribbon cutting to mark the opening of the new showroom with wine and cheese on Jan. 13 at 3:30 p.m. The new Atlanta showroom will be open all year, which enables the company to display all its stocking and introductions as well and see customers when market is not in session.
