The two major steelmakers in the US AK Steel and ArcelorMittal North America have announced to raise its prices for steel flat products last Friday after Nucor hiked its prices by US$22/ton.
It's learned that AK Steel increased the base prices for steel flat products by US$33/ton.
At the same time, ArcelorMittal North America hiked the prices for its steel flat products including hot rolled, cold rolled and coated steel products by US$22/ton, applied for new contracts and quotes.
