Russian OMK Said That It Planned to Cut Its Steel Pipe Output by 6% This Year

Reportedly, Russian steel pipe producer United Metallurgical Company (OMK) said that it planned to cut its steel pipe output by 6% from a year ago to 1.5 million tons in 2013. However, OMK expected that the situation would improve in 2014, driven by the start of new projects of Russian gas monopoly Gazprom, including Southern Corridor, Power of Siberia and South Stream.
