The Downward Trend in OSB Exports Persisted in The Third Quarter of This Year

21.11.2012 − The downward trend in OSB exports from the US persisted in the third quarter of this year. According to statistics released by the Foreign Agriculture Service, OSB exports dropped 24.9% to stand at 61,587 m3 in the third quarter. Exports had already tumbled 25% to 60,099 m3 in the second quarter, after rising 14 % to 68,709 in the first three months of this year. Looking at the first nine months combined, US OSB exports had fallen 15% to land at 190,395 m3. On the other hand, the value of these exports dipped just 4% to US$61.3m.
