Made especially for the .HBC Restaurant in Berlin, these fixtures were made entirely of concrete. Created by the design and architecture firm unit-berlin, each pendant “shade” weighs about 27 pounds and are cast in a single piece and hangs with steel bars to reinforce them.

The company states that, “in spite of its radical simplicity this light fitting offers a wide range of atmospherical lightning solutions.” Each shell is handcrafted in Berlin and is a limited edition of a small series of pendants and floor lamps.
