The drone embarked on its 730 mile journey across the Antarctic as part of an expedition to teach British school children about climate change.
Joined by Plymouth-based explorer Antony Jinman, the AR Drone 2.0 Power Edition captured images and video of the mission, which were then beamed back to nearly 200 school children to teach them about the remote environment.
The AR Done was charged via solar panels as it accompanied Jinman on the 47 day endeavor.
